Bring the water to boil in a pot. Heat up a frying pan or skillet or wok on moderate heat. Once pan is evenly warmed, add the 1 tbsp of sesame oil. Evenly coat the pan with the sesame oil by gently rocking the pan from side-to-side.
Once the water comes to a boil, add 1 serving of noodles. Boil the noodles for 2 to 3 minutes, depending on provided packaged instructions. Make sure that the noodles are not overcooked. Use a small strainer to retrieve the cooked noodles.
Place the noodles in the heated pan with sesame oil. Immediately crack open an egg and let it set for at least 90 seconds before flipping the sesame noodle omelette over. Cook for another 90 seconds.
Serve immediately. Optional: add soy sauce or your favourite hot sauce for taste before eating.
