In a skillet or frying pan, add sunflower oil and heat for 1 to 2 minutes on moderate high. Add ground beef, dill-weed & ginger and fry until browned, for 8 to 10 minutes.
While the ground beef is cooking in the pan, wash, peel, core and dice your apples. If you’ve got a Vitamix, you can add your apples & cinnamon straight to the blender on setting 1 to thinly chop the apples. Then, turn your dial to 3 while using the tamper until no visible apple chunks are present for about 3 minutes.Without the Vitamix: steam the apples in a steaming basket over a pot of boiling water, covered with a lid, before adding apples & cinnamon to your food processor.
Add your cooked ground beef to the apple sauce in the food processor. Keep pulsing until fully incorporated for roughly 3 to 5 minutes.
Taste test for consistency. Thin it down with water and continue pulsing as desired, for a thinner puree.
